All over the world: culture, language, history, tr

This is a picture I took last year in November in Regensburg, Germany. The Danube is almost flooded this year, I live on the Merrimack River in New Hampshire, United States. It's almost flooded too.

Please share your pictures of the places you live in. I am interested in seeing the world and meeting others from around it. What do you do on a rainy day? Today I will be making honey bread and sewing a pair of pants, perhaps I will do some laundry.

You sound interesting. What kind of music do you play? I am a musician too, I play classical style piano and keyboards for a Doom Metal band called Eternal Embrace. We are always looking for a violinist, but people in United States don't focus on the arts or language as much as they do in Europe, this is why I would have rather been born in Europe. I am Russian on my father's side, his family was from Kiev and Smolensk.

and can you speak russian? =) i envy those who'd born in bilingual families...

i'm plauying violin only.. 3 or 4 years... i've completed musical school on accordeon earlier... then fall in with violin and now i study with a teacher... not in school, just individual lessons... i'm playing classics, now i'm in a duett with one of my teacher's pupils, and we are going to form a string quartet with non-professionals like us.
i've played in group "Oldman and a vegetable" for 2 years, but i've decided that my level is no match for group's level and i 've quit... i hope not forever, but for some years to learn
now i'm starting project with menestrel duett - two girls with perfect voices, one of which plays guitar, and me...
i believe i've heard about Eternal Embrace... but i can't find it in our local network music server... couldn't you share some of your music?

have you downloaded something of my favourite russian musician, Linda?
How did you like it?
